In Loving Memory of Phyllis Ann Watson
Sunrise: August 24, 1952 – Sunset: June 22, 2025
With heavy hearts and cherished memories, we announce the passing of Phyllis Ann Watson, who entered eternal rest on June 22, 2025. Born in Buffalo, NY, on August 24, 1952, Phyllis was a vibrant spirit, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who touched the lives of all who knew her.
Phyllis was the devoted mother to Damone (predeceased). She is survived by her beloved children: Robert and Brandy Hardy, Aaron and Shaaron Rogers, Geraldine and Trevor Allen. Grandsons Cameron Hardy, Damone (Danielle) Allen, Desmond, Josh, AJ, Ayzell, Arman Rogers, and granddaughters Kesheena, Talisa, and Robin. Her legacy lives on in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each a testament of the love and strength she had.
For the past decade, Phyllis made her home at The Commons on St. Anthony, where she quickly earned the endearing title of Queen of the Commons. Known for her quick wit, her sense of humor, and lovingly given nicknames, she left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her family extends their deepest gratitude to the 7th floor staff for the kindness, dignity, and care they provided during her time there.
Phyllis was truly one-of-a-kind — feisty, funny, and full of opinions. Phyllis had a deep love and connection in her faith with God. She had a legendary love-hate relationship with Donald Trump and often spoke of her dream to move into Trump Plaza. In Heaven, we know she’s finally in her big mansion reunited with sisters Ada and Pauline, flipping through QVC and Fingerhut catalogs with a never-ending line of credit with the best polished nails showing them off.
Mama Phyllis, we will miss your laughter, your sass, and your unwavering love. You will be remembered and treasured for all our days.
Rest easy, Queen — your throne awaits you.
