Rishanna J. Wellington

Rishanna J. Wellington, 38 of Auburn passed away June 22, 2024 at Auburn Community Hospital, with her loving family at her side, after subcoming to a very brave and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Rishanna was dearly loved by the community. She was well known for her familiar smile and contagious energy at Angelo’s pizzeria. Rishanna’s love and dedication in her work was shown and enjoyed through her creativity within her pizza’s. She was a true Pizzaiolo.
An upmost important role in Rishanna’s life was of her children and family and her pet Miley, who was always by her side throughout her care.
  You could always find her cheering on or volunteering at her children’s games/events. In addition to her strength and charisma, her compassion for others was everlasting. She had a bold passion for cooking for her friends and family. Always making sure no one left hungry.
  We would like to express a special thank you to the Upstate Cancer Center staff of Auburn and third Memorial staff of Auburn hospital for their compassion and empathy, they have shown her throughout her care.
  Rishanna is survived by her three loving children: Malik Williams, Amir Williams, & Elaina King; her parents: Debbie Trinca-Wellington, & Richard Wellington; sisters: Michala Wellington, and Andrea Wellington-Carroll (Donovan Carroll), & nieces Savanah Carroll, & Payton & nephew: Colton Carroll & Grandmother: Santa (Dolly) Trinca; Uncle: David Trinca; Aunt: Jean Trinca; favorite cousin: Aimee Trinca and several special friends.

  Calling hours are this Friday, June 28th from 4 to 6 pm in Pettigrass Funeral Home, 196 Genesee St.,Auburn. A memorial service will immediately follow at 6:00 pm also in the funeral home.
