Robin L. Shaw

Robin L. Shaw, 60 of Auburn, passed away unexpectedly after a cardiac event on July 20,2025.

 She was born in Auburn the daughter of the late Richard L. and Wanda L.  ( Thurston) Kuszaj and had been an area resident for most of her life. Robin graduated from Auburn High School, class of 1982 and attended C.C.C. She served our country honorably in the Army during the  Gulf War (operation desert storm).  Robin was currently working for NKW Enterprises , where she transported many disabled people to their medical appointments.  She was a devout Catholic who loved fishing and her Harley Davidsons and was an avid NY Giants football fan. Above everything, Robin was the most supportive, caring and helpful sister, aunt and friend to many . She will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to get to know this special woman.

 She is survived by her twin sister, Bonnie Shaw, brother Terry (Theresa) Shaw, sister Sherry Salemi, sister Marion (Eric) Ferguson, beloved uncle Vincent Shaw,  nieces and nephews, Tara and Jessica Ferguson, Shannon (Seamus) Rhodes, Jeannie Shaw, Steven (Julie) Shaw, Joseph (Shayla) Salemi, Felicia (Aaron) Kiley, Stephanie (Eddie) Llanos, Marie (Felix) Romero, Sherree LaPorta (Mike Youtt), several great- nieces, nephews, best friend Beth Spinelli and Joanie Monroe as well as several other great friends.

 In addition to her parents, she is also predeceased by two brothers in law, Joseph Salemi and Robert Guarnieri and nephew Eric Salemi.

A  calling hour  will be held Thursday, July 31st from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the Pettigrass Funeral Home, 196 Genesee St., Auburn, with services to immediately follow at 7:00 pm.

 Internment will be held Friday , August 1st at 11:00 am in Sampson Veteran’s Cemetery in Romulus, where full military honors will be accorded.
