AUBURN | Sharon M. Carbonaro, 62, of Auburn, passed away unexpectedly Oct. 5, 2018, at her home.
She was a life resident of Auburn, the daughter of the late Mauro “Red” and Judy Massaro Carbonaro. She was very talented with many different arts and crafts, making numerous items over the years. Sharon could also track down the best deals and hardest finds at many of our local garage sales. She enjoyed the simpler things in life and was her happiest when she was caring for her beautiful granddaughter, Abby, whom she adored.
She is survived by her two loving sons, James and Mark Carbonaro, both of Auburn; granddaughter, Abby; three sisters, Sue Deyo, Stacy (Kevin) Kelly, and Shella (Rodney) Hesselton; two brothers, Jay Carbonaro, and Joe (Cindy) Carbonaro; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Sharon was predeceased by a sister, Sandra Carbonaro, and a brother, John Carbonaro.
Friends and relatives are invited for a calling hour from 2 to 3 p.m. this Saturday with a memorial service to immediately follow at 3 p.m. at the Pettigrass Funeral Home, 196 Genesee St., Auburn.
