Sharon Sofo

Sharon (Kudla) Sofo, 81 of Auburn passed away Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Auburn Community Hospital.

  She was a lifelong resident of Auburn, the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Rusynko) Kudla. Sharon graduated from Central High School, Class of 1962, Sharon worked many years as a hairdresser and stylist , helping hundreds of friends and family look their best over the years. She also enjoyed playing cards and was an avid animal lover. Sharon cherished her family and the countless good times that she was fortunate enough to have with them. She will be greatly missed.

  She is survived by her loving sons, Joseph (Shirley) Sofo, Michael Sofo Jr., grandchildren, Taylor (Logan) Haake, Brenden Sofo, twins Audrey (Luke) Hickey, Austyn Sofo, Joseph A. Sofo Jr., a great-grandson Myles, siblings, Michae, Kudla, Thomas Kudla, John Kudla, Robert (Penny) Kudla, George (Lorraine) Kudla, Joyce Hasenjager, sister-in-law Betty Kudla as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

  In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by a sister Kathleen Wildner and brother William Kudla.

  A calling hour will be held Thursday, October 16th from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a brief service to follow, all inside of Pettigrass Funeral Home, 196 Genesee St.,Auburn.
