Shirley A. Hein

Shirley A. Hein, 85 of Seneca Falls, passed away peacefully, Wednesday eveningOctober,15,2025 in the comfort of her daughter’s  home.
  She was born in Tennessee, the daughter of the late Ruel and Julia (Rutledge) McDaniel and had formerly resided in Pennsylvanian for many years until moving to New York in her later years.  Shirley retired from Abington Manor in Clarks Summit, PA after many years of service as a licensed practical nurse.  She was an avid animal lover , having raised Maltese dogs and various birds over the years. She also was a very talented quilter , having designed and crafted  numerous quilts for family and friends to enjoy for many years.
  She is survived by her loving children, son Robert (Donna) Fassler , their children Sam, Joe, Jesse,  son Timothy (Tina) Fassler, their children Lindsey, Lanae, Nicholas, Jacob,  daughter Shirley (Tinker)  Joe Sofo, their children, Taylor, Brenden, Audrey, Austyn, Joseph, Jasmine, Adrianna, Vanessa, daughter Paula (Ted) Ariano their children, Audra,Angie, Jared, siblings, Kitty Smalling, Beth Thomas, Ruth Hardwick, Randy ( Karen) Hughes, Curtis Hughes, son William Fassler , daughter Debbie Fassler ,her children  Laurie, Melissa, Amy , daughter -in-law Audrey Fassler and children Amber and Chrystal as well as several, nieces,cousins and beloved canine friends Soraya, Maiti and Henny Penny.
  In addition to her parents, Shirley was also predeceased by her husband Emil Hein, a son William ‘Butch’ Fassler, granddaughter Dimetia and sister Carol McDaniel .
   A graveside service will be held in Waverly, PA at a later date.
