Stephen G. Kynio

Stephen George Kynio, 96, of Manlius and formerly of Auburn, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.

He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Patrick; his son, Stephen J. Kynio; and his longtime friend, Kay.

Born in Ukraine, Stephen immigrated to the United States as a teenager and later served in the U.S. Army Combat Intelligence Detail during the Korean War.

A private graveside service will be held Saturday morning at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Auburn.
