Stephen P. Paxhia

Stephen P. Paxhia, 77 of Auburn passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning April 21,2026.
 He was a lifelong resident of Auburn , the son of the late Stephen and Nina (Feek) Paxhia. Steve retired as a head mechanic from the City of Auburn after more than 38 years of service.  Steve led a fairly simple life , enjoying his many fancy vehicles over the years , Burgundy, of course. He could often  be found around town , driving and helping several people , throughout the course of the day.
  He is survived by his wife Jamie (Telvock) Paxhia, two sisters, Frances (Mavin) Hanlin, Susan (Tom) Ferguson , as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved feline friends Louie and Gucci. 
 Calling hours are Tuesday, April 28th from 4-6 pm, with services to immediately follow, all inside of Pettigrass Funeral Home, 196 Genesee St., Auburn.
