Steven F. Birtwell

Steven F. Birtwell, 56 passed away, December 7, 2023, in Rochester, unexpectedly.

  Steve was born in Rhode Island, the son of the late Lucious and Karen (Stee) Birtwell and had been residing in both the Auburn and Rochester areas for the past several years. Steve was in the National Guard, serving our country honorably. Steven led a very simple and private life. He enjoyed listening to rock & roll and heavy metal bands for hours on end. He also liked camping, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. Steve will be sadly missed.

  He is survived by his two sons, Connor Birtwell of Auburn and Ryan Birtwell of Seattle, WA., a granddaughter Elizabeth, two brothers, John Birtwell, William Birtwell as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

  In addition to his parents, Steve was also predeceased by a sister Marie Phillips and brother Kevin Birtwell.

  A celebration to Steven's life will be held at a future date and time that will be announced.
