Terrance ‘Terry’ Alexander Sr. Obituary

Terrance (Terry) Robert Alexander, age 80, of Auburn New York, passed away on November 3rd, 2025.
He was born to the late Robert and Vera Alexander ( Francore). Terry attended Dewitt public schools and moved to Jordan, New York, where he completed his high school education. Later in life he attended Empire State College where he received Business Management training. Terry Alexander, a cherished husband for many years, loving father, and friend too many, leaves behind a legacy of love, skill and wisdom. Those who knew him would describe him as intelligent, handy, and funny, A trifecta of traits not often found in one man. Professionally, he was unmatched, his leadership style and compassion is talked about to this day. His reputation as a master craftsman was well earned as there was truly nothing he couldn’t fix. His hands could coax life into the most stubborn of machines and home projects. Terry’s interests were varied. When he wasn’t fixing something or helping someone fix something, he enjoyed the tranquility of fly fishing and tie flying. His gardening and birding skills rivaled professional horticulturists! and ornithologist. His love of sports and the Yankees washed over to watching his grandson Rocco at his games. You never saw him prouder than the day his oldest grandson graduated college, and the day he married his soul mate Andrea. Last but certainly not least, he took great pride in serving his country in the Vietnam war, and dawning his Veteran attire.

Terry is survived by: his sister Kathleen Linker; and his cousins Tracy (Jeff) Lyman; Linda (Bill) Close. His daughters, Delphina (Marie) Aldama, Kimberly (Ernesto)Alexander, Terrance Alexander Jr., his beloved his grandsons, Terrance Alexander III and his wife Andrea , and Rocco  Alexander along with their mother Christine Alexander, as well as many very dear friends.
