Thomas M. Church II

Thomas M. Church II, 44 of Auburn passed away, August 31,2024 at Auburn Community Hospital, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.
  He was a life resident of Auburn, the son of Thomas M. and Cynthia (Pettit) Church. Tom graduated from Auburn High School, Class of 1998 and shortly after enlisted in the US Army. He served our country honorably in the late 90’s into the early 2000’s. Tom was currently employed and working as a corrections officer for the Auburn Correctional Facility.  He enjoyed bowling, golfing and attending rock concerts with his family and friends. He also was an avid New York Giants and New York Yankees sports fan. Tom cherished the many special times with his three daughters and will be sadly and greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
  He is survived by his loving parents, Cynthia and Thomas Church, wife Andrea (Hopkins) Church, three daughters Olivia, Alicia, Julia Church, three siblings Jackie, Ann Marie and Michael Church, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and especially his two beloved canine friends Kona and Reese.
  Calling hours are this Saturday from 11-1 pm with services to immediately follow at 1:00 pm, all inside of Pettigrass Funeral Home, 196 Genesee St., Auburn.
