William J. Crawford Jr.

William J. Crawford Jr., 66 of Auburn passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 2, 2022 at his home.
   He was a longtime chef in the area, working at both the Port Byron Diner and Kosta's Restaurant for several years. Bill enjoyed playing the guitar, winning at Scrabble, and watching some of his favorite shows (like Star Trek and NCIS). He also was an amateur geologist but would have liked you to think he was a professional one. Bill was extremely quick witted and loved to joke and laugh with his family and friends.
  He is survived by his children, Matthew Crawford of MD & Chelsea (Scott) Crawford of Liverpool; four grandchildren, Carson, Logan, Hunter and Ryker; a special cousin, Pat Autllio; and his beloved canine companions, Abby and Scoot.
  In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by a half-brother, Dan.
  The family will greet any friends Monday, July 11th, from 5pm to 7pm at the Pettigrass Funeral Home, 196 Genesee St., Auburn, NY.
