William A. Rondina

AUBURN - William A. Rondina, 90, of Auburn and Miami, Florida passed away peacefully Sept. 3, 2018 in Miami.
He was born in Auburn, the son of the late Fred and Rose Fiduccia Rondina. Bill resided most of his life in the Auburn area and his later years, enjoyed wintering in Florida with his late wife, Stephanie. William was a World War II Coast Guard veteran having served our country honorably. Bill and his family owned and operated the former Rondina Furniture Store in Auburn for over 75 years. He also was a successful businessman and entrepreneur, forming Rondina Properties, Inc. Bill led a very blessed life, enjoying his family above everything else.
He is survived by his best friend and loving son, Fredric W. Rondina and his wife Luz of Miami, Florida; two grandchildren, Freddie and Isabella Rondina; brother Joseph Rondina of New York City; two nieces Linda (Casey) Jones, Nancy Rainone; great-niece Lindsey, great-nephew Larry.
In addition to his parents and wife, Stephanie; Bill was predeceased more recently by his daughter Barbara Rondina and a sister Mary Rainone.
Calling hours are 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, with services to immediately follow at 11 a.m. in the Pettigrass Funeral Home, 196 Genesee St., Auburn. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
