Yvonne Bergerstock

Yvonne M. Bergerstock, 89 of Cayuga, passed away peacefully, Saturday January 25,2025 at Upstate Community Hospital in Syracuse.

  She was born in the family home in Cayuga,NY to John and Ida (Roy) Mundt. Yvonne previously worked for Beacon Feeds in Cayuga . She was an avid outdoorswomen , enjoying many activities outside including, bird feeding, flower gardening, fishing, canoeing, trips to the Montezuma Refuge and camping in the Adirondacks . Yvonne also enjoyed watching QVC and making an occasional purchase or two. She also loved cooking for her family and cherished all the special memories with each of them.

  She is survived by her two sons, Kevin ( Michelle) Bergerstock, Martial Bergerstock ( Sylvia),two grandchildren, Thomas (Malia) Bergerstock, Morgan ( Giovanni) Holmquist, a great-grandson Levi as well as several nieces,nephews and cousins.

  In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Duane  , a son Dana, sister Hilda Spade and brothers, Jackie, Frederick, Warren,Martial and Alan Mundt. 

The family will gather with friends , Friday, February 7th from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm, with a service to follow at noon, all inside of Pettigrass Funeral Home, 196 Genesee St., Auburn
