Dave, Bob, Tom and Debbie Conner,
Just saw online of Gary's passing and I wanted to express my condolences. You will have to think hard to remember me as my contact with your family was in the late 60's and early 70's as an 18 yr. old I got my first job at Nichols as a meat cutter and Gary became a great friend as he realized I was away from home on my first job.
Bowling, sports and "Equestrian events "were a passion we both enjoyed.
After only 2 1/2 years in Auburn the rest of my career was spent in Northern Ny. Gary and I lost contact but while traveling through Auburn in the summer of 2016 I contacted a person in Auburn who was able to pass on my number to Gary and he did call me a few days later and we spoke about some old times and we were going to try and go to lunch but that did not materialize.
I Didn't spend much time in Auburn but felt like I knew Gary forever as he left a lasting impression on me.
Once again sorry for your loss.
